We are proud to let you know that our supplier Collectif d'Anvers will be present at the Paris Fashion week (Women Fall/Winter 18/19 edition) with her newest collection:
Excitingly, the collection combines 100% vegetable-tanned cowhide with specially designed fabrics. By fusing cotton, linen, polyamide, rubber, and silk, these textiles offer both greater wear resistance and creative opportunities. Indeed, inspired by the potential of these innovative fabrics, the collection has expanded beyond footwear, to include socks, coats, and handbags.
The collection’s theme is Pure Evil. For this, Natalie drew her inspiration from contemporary current affairs. Daily, we are confronted with images that shock. The media focuses on conflict and division. Increasingly, fear dominates our lives. How best can this be represented? How can we challenge feelings of impermanence and fragility? Can instability offer creative potential, even changing attitudes, making us explore and embrace sustainability? For this striking collection, Natalie collaborated with two exceptional designers. Together, they developed the fabrics that feature prominently, throughout the Collection. This collection, with its unisex silhouettes, will appeal to both men and women, especially those bold enough to embrace luxury with cutting-edge design. In short, it is for those who can dare to indulge in the cardinal sin - pure extravagance!
